PRIMARY FUNCTION : 

We are seeking a Junior Multimedia Designer to support the creation of compelling visual content across digital channels. This role is ideal for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience who has a strong foundation in graphic design and is also comfortable editing video. The right candidate is creative, detail-oriented and excited to work across static, motion and short-form content in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Design digital creative assets for paid social media, email, web and other marketing channels
  • Create on-brand graphics, layouts and visual content that align with campaign objectives
  • Edit short-form videos for social platforms, including resizing, captioning, light motion graphics and basic animations
  • Adapt creative for different platform specifications and audience needs
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop engaging content
  • Support the development of visual concepts for campaigns, launches and ongoing brand storytelling
  • Organize and manage design files, templates and creative assets
  • Incorporate feedback and make revisions in a timely manner while maintaining high design standards
  • Stay current on social content trends, platform best practices and emerging creative formats.

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro 
  • Understanding of typography, layout, color and brand systems 
  • Experience creating content optimized for video platforms 
  • Familiarity with After Effects, CapCut or other motion and video editing tools is a plus 

 

Other preferred qualifications: 

  • Experience designing within established brand guidelines 
  • Basic motion graphics or animation skills 
  • Experience with short-form storytelling and social-first creative 
  • Familiarity with Figma or other digital design tools 

 

Skills:  

  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills 
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines 
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and grow. 

 

Work Experience: 

 

  • The ideal candidate has professional experience in graphic design, multimedia design or digital content creation and is able to provide a strong portfolio that showcases their graphic design work and some video or motion content, especially for social media. 

 

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, multimedia design, digital media or a related field, or equivalent experience.  

Work Environment: 

  • Additional hours required as necessary to manage workload 
  • ADL is a hybrid environment; this role will require 3 days in the office 

 

Compensation:

  • This position has a salary range of $65,000 to $72,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in (New YorkNY).
