PRIMARY FUNCTION: 

 

The Content Marketing Manager supports the elevation of the brand and impact of ADL through the marketing of our editorial content, digital products and initiatives. This includes supporting and project managing the release of research, resources and digital tools; audio and multimedia storytelling; and expansion of ADL’s Impact Story library, owning areas of content strategy. This role will collaborate across Brand & Marketing (BAM) and other departments to define and coordinate marketing tactics across channels to lift content to different audiences and to track and report KPIs. The Content Marketing Manager will play a key role in the planning and content programming for ADL’s annual summit.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Market and promote ADL’s work and impact in collaboration with key stakeholders throughout the organization, by helping to expand the reach of, and engagement with, editorial content, resources and products.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, resources and deliverables and monitor project outcomes to define and track metrics and ensure successful execution.
  • Write copy for BAM-led content, primarily for ADL.org pages and ADL’s Impact Story library.
  • Lead BAM team communication to update on content releases and waves of promotion, brand and content campaigns to track and contribute to integrated marketing across the team.
  • Project manage and contribute to the ADL Impact Story library, collaborating across the organization to identify, capture and upload impact stories, in addition to assessing and updating entries for keywords, categorizations, usage and archiving.
  • Play a key role in the planning and programming for Never Is Now, coordinating with stakeholders on topics, developing content and contributing to event experiences to elevate ADL’s content and brand at the event.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders across departments;
  • Strong cross-media editorial and creative judgement;
  • Strong familiarity with marketing channels and correlating tactics;
  • Familiarity with audience segments and KPIs, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics or another similar platform;
  • Writing and ideation skills with the ability to integrate brand language and copy edit for messaging;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Self-motivated/driven to meet tight deadlines and achieve strong results;
  • Able to focus on details while also understanding big picture;
  • Comfort building relationships with and working with colleagues remotely across the country.

Work Experience:

  • The ideal candidate has significant years’ experience in brand or content marketing with a demonstrable increase in responsibilities and project oversight, including experience in content marketing, project management and internal communications.
  • Experience in marketing for an agency, consultancy or in an in-house brand management role, preferred.
  • Experience building and tracking performance metrics, preferred.

Education:

  • BA/BS in a related field, Marketing, Advertising, Business, or equivalent experience required.

Work Environment: 

  • ADL is a hybrid environment; this role may require 3 days in the office.  

 Compensation:

  • This position has a salary range of $85,000 to $100,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York, New York.
