PRIMARY FUNCTION:

 

The Web Content Manager is a collaborative and detail oriented member of the Brand & Marketing department. The Web Content Manager enjoys problem solving, building engaging user-friendly web experiences, and partnering with many different stakeholders across a mission-driven organization. This role will support a variety of internal clients to bring their website content to life to amplify ADL’s work and impact.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Build, update, and maintain web content using the Drupal content management system (CMS) to support organizational initiatives and internal stakeholders;
  • Monitor web request queue, audit requests for missing or incomplete details and work with internal clients to ensure all requested deadlines are achievable;
  • Identify and recommend engagement and lead gen opportunities for new content;
  • Assist with thorough QA and UAT during web deployment cycles to ensure high-quality, accurate, and accessible web content and functionality;
  • Utilize analytics tools like GA4, Looker Studio, and VWO to measure performance, optimize content, and track organization wide KPIs;
  • Proactively update web content in coordination with campaigns, events, and organizational priorities;
  • Maintain site structure and metadata to support SEO best practices and content discoverability;
  • Identify and troubleshoot website issues, recommend solutions, and help implement fixes;
  • Support larger web projects and redesigns as needed.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Strong QA and UAT skills with a sharp eye for detail;
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and Excel;
  • Experience working with project management tools (Asana, Airtable, Jira, etc)
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms (e.g., VWO, Optimizely)
  • Familiarity with Wordpress, Wix, or other CMS tools
  • Familiarity with Search and AI Optimization rules and best practices, or willingness to learn;
  • Graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) a plus;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously;
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working across departments and with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, flexible approach to challenges;
  • A commitment to justice and fair treatment for all.

 

Work Experience:

  • The ideal candidate has significant years’ experience and can demonstrate a progression in skills and expertise managing website content in an enterprise environment e.g., Drupal, Wordpress, Wix.
  • Experience in editorial, communications or project management preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree, or related field, or equivalent experience required.

Work Environment:

  • ADL is a hybrid environment, though this role may be performed remotely.

Compensation: 

  • This position has a salary range of $60,000 to $90,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York, New York. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
