POSITION TITLE: Specialist, Employee Experience 

REPORTS TO:  Senior Manager, Learning & Development 

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:None 

LOCATION: East-coast preferred, or anywhere ADL has an office  

Grade/Class: Grade E, Exempt, Non-Union

PRIMARY FUNCTION: 

 

The Specialist, Employee Experience supports the development and execution of programs that will foster an engaged and inclusive workplace culture. This role will work cross-functionally across the organization and within the People & Culture team to improve the employee experience by supporting the creation and execution of learning and development programs as well as all initiatives focused on helping our workforce thrive. 

Responsibilities

Primary: 

  • Partner with the Senior Manager, Learning and Development to align learning and development programs with overall employee experience and ADL organizational goals; 
  • Help plan, execute, and improve upon the onboarding process, ensuring new hires feel welcomed, informed, and supported throughout their employee experience; 
  • Identify and track touchpoints throughout the employee experience supporting the positive evolution of employee programs; 
  • Assist with reporting on key employee experience metrics including the collection of data, and helping to drive improvements through data-informed decisions;   
  • Work closely with P&C and other stakeholders to address specific needs within cross-functional teams; 
  • Support the development of employee feedback surveys and listening programs and help analyze results to create actionable recommendations.

Work Experience:   

  • The ideal candidate has several years’ experience in human resources, with a demonstrable increase in skills and responsibility; 
  • Background in learning and development, education, or another related function, is highly desirable; 
  • Experience designing and facilitating training programs is preferred. 

Education:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field, or equivalent experience required.  
  • Training certification (ATD, CPTD, or similar) preferred 

 

Work Environment:   

  • ADL is a hybrid environment, this role requires presence in-person/in office 3 days a week.

 

Compensation: 

  • This position has a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York, New York. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. For an overview of our total rewards package, please visit https://www.adl.org/about/careers.
