ADL Summer 2025 Internship Description


ADL’s Southern Division Development team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 9 to August 8, 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience with writing, graphic design and events. Our Development internship provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience with project management, event planning, writing and research.


Application portals will close at 6 PM ET on March 7, 2025. ADL will confirm the selected candidates by mid-April.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Must possess high school diploma or equivalent
  • Passion for non-profit work
  • Desire to start building career within non-profit sector

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Development staff in event planning and coordination.
  • Research projects and initiatives for the Development team.
  • Assist in general donor stewardship, including helping update data for team for donor databases, drafting emails to current or potential donors, support team on donor outreach and stewardship.
  • Attend and participate in the ADL Summer Internship Learning Program sessions, where you will get to have discussions with accomplished leaders and subject matter experts at ADL.

Compensation and Hours: 

  • This internship is paid $15.00 an hour in most locations. 
  • The internship is 15 hours per week.

Location: 

  • This internship will be hybrid, with on-site presence required in one of the following cities: Boca Raton, FL; Miami, FL; Washington, DC; Atlanta, GA; Cleveland, OH; or New Orleans, LA.

 

What will you do during this internship?

  • You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges and help us develop real-time solutions.
  • You will have the opportunity to present your work at internal forums within ADL.
  • You will have practical, hands-on experience with donor communications, research, project management, and event planning and execution
  • Collaborate with, meet and learn from ADL subject matter experts at all levels and become familiar with the varied work we do to “stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
