ADL Summer 2025 Internship Description  

ADL's San Diego team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 9 to August 8, 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing administrative tasks, strong communication skills, and demonstrate values committed to ADL’s mission. Our San Diego Office internship provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience with antisemitism education, advocacy, and community engagement. 

Application portals will close at 6 PM ET on March 7, 2025. ADL will confirm the selected candidates by mid-April. 

Responsibilities

Requirements 

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent  
  • Passion to fight antisemitism and all forms of hate 
  • Desire to start building a career within the non-profit sector

 

Responsibilities 

  • Assist ADL staff with antisemitism education and advocacy projects. 
  • Support volunteer engagement in education and advocacy.  
  • Provide general administrative support and communication as needed. 
  • Attend and participate in the ADL Summer Internship Learning Program sessions, where you will get to have discussions with accomplished leaders and subject matter experts at ADL. 
  • Provide a briefing/ presentation on volunteer management best practices.

Compensation and Hours 

  • This internship is paid 17.25 an hour.
  • The internship is 15 hours per week. 

Location:

  • This internship will be hybrid, with on-site presence required in San Diego, CA. 

What will you do during this internship? 

  • You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges and help us develop real-time solutions. 
  • You will have the opportunity to present your work at internal forums within ADL. 
  • You will have practical, hands-on experience with community engagement and advocacy work. 
  • Collaborate with, meet and learn from ADL subject matter experts at all levels and become familiar with the varied work we do to "stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all."
