ADL Summer 2025 Internship Description 

 

ADL’s Los Angeles Regional Operations team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 9 to August 8, 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience with community outreach, internet research, and database management. Our Regional Operations internship provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience with working directly with Regional Staff to gain first-hand knowledge about work in the areas of community outreach and program development. The focus will be heavily on incident response, both in helping maintain Salesforce and providing data upon request. Other projects involve researching, reporting and correspondence writing, assisting with meeting and event planning.

 

Application portals will close at 6 PM ET on March 7, 2025. ADL will confirm the selected candidates by mid-April.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Must possess high school diploma or equivalent
  • Passion for non-profit work 
  • Desire to start building career within non-profit sector 

Responsibilities: 

  • Respond to bias incidents reported to our regional office, under the guidance and supervision of regional staff, including outreach to constituents and data entry
  • Gain a real-world work experience and a greater understanding of ADL's work
  • Participate in projects including, but not limited to, community outreach, database management and online research
  • Assist with creating and compiling materials for programs, events, and presentations; Assist with the coordination and implementation of programs, both from Operations and Development
  • Attend and participate in the ADL Summer Internship Learning Program sessions, where you will get to have discussions with accomplished leaders and subject matter experts at ADL.

Compensation and Hours:

  • This internship is paid $17.81 an hour.
  • The internship is 15 hours per week.

Location:

  • This internship will be hybrid, with on-site presence required in Los Angeles, California.

What will you do during this internship?

  • You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges and help us develop real-time solutions.
  • You will have the opportunity to present your work at internal forums within ADL.
  • You will have practical, hands-on experience with regional operations
  • Collaborate with, meet and learn from ADL subject matter experts at all levels and become familiar with the varied work we do to “stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
