ADL Summer 2025 Internship Description 

ADL’s JLens team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 9 to August 8, 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience with community research, policy, and advocacy. We are looking for a summer intern that is a hard-working, detail-oriented, and self-starting analyst.  Our JLens internship provides the opportunity for students to bolster JLens’ research and advocacy efforts. The focus will be heavily on joining our team at the forefront of Jewish values-based investing to assist efforts to combat antisemitism and support the Jewish community and Israel. Learn more about JLens here

Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Must possess high school diploma or equivalent
  • Passion for non-profit work 
  • Desire to start building career within non-profit sector 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Assist JLens in team projects, which may include short-term research projects and assistance with JLens’ communications and development,
  • Assist JLens in our scoring of companies in our index, including researching the public companies held in JLens’ portfolio, assessing disclosure relevant to JLens’ Jewish value pillars, and analyzing company performance.
  • Attend social responsible investing webinars, taking notes of potential areas of advocacy for JLens,
  • Assist JLens with data management, including organizing company scoring and engagement information in our internal system,
  • Conduct research on new potential donors and investors in JLens’ strategies,
  • Contribute to JLens’ impact reporting and communications by analyzing company data across JLens’ values pillars,
  • Create communications pieces for JLens’ blog, newsletter and social media.
  • Assist in preparation for company engagements, including conducting background research and creating decks and other presentation materials
  • Join calls with other socially responsible investors, representing JLens in other investor coalitions and groups
  • Analyze JLens’ proxy season activity and create reports, visualizations, or other ways to demonstrate impact

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Strong research (both quantitative and qualitative) and analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze data from multiple sources, identify key information, and communicate key points in writing
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a virtual environment and to multi-task
  • Commitment to ADL and JLens’ mission and values, and interest in the corporate responsibility/socially responsible investing field
  • Interest in and/or knowledge and experience in any or all of JLens areas of focus is a plus

 

Compensation and Hours:

  • This internship is paid $15.00
  • The internship is 15 hours per week.

Location:

  • This internship will be remote.

What will you do during this internship?

  • You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges and help us develop real-time solutions.
  • You will have the opportunity to present your work at internal forums within ADL.
  • You will have practical, hands-on experience with JLens programming and advocacy work.
  • Collaborate with, meet and learn from ADL subject matter experts at all levels and become familiar with the varied work we do to “stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
