Overview

ADL Summer 2025 Internship Description 

 

ADL’s Florida Regional Operations team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 9 to August 8, 2025. The Regional Operations Intern will work directly with Regional Staff on projects relating to incident response, community engagement, antisemitism, education, programming, and general regional operations. Projects involve incident response, program administration, research, report and correspondence writing, database management, assisting with meeting and event planning, community outreach and other duties as assigned.

 

Application portals will close at 6 PM ET on March 7, 2025. ADL will confirm the selected candidates by mid-April.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Must possess high school diploma or equivalent
  • Passion for non-profit work 
  • Desire to start building career within non-profit sector 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with response to bias incidents, including outreach and data entry
  • Assist with outreach to community members and leaders on an ADL issue of concern
  • Provide administrative support to special events and board or community meetings
  • Research and prepare reports and presentations on ADL issue areas
  • Assist Regional Staff in implementing marketing initiatives, including regular updates of social media and websites
  • Assist staff with growth research and education programming

Qualifications

Skills: 

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong research skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate commitment to ADL’s mission
  • Discretion when dealing with sensitive issues
  • Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel

Compensation and Hours:

  • This internship is paid $15.00 an hour.
  • The internship is 15 hours per week.

Location:

  • This internship will be hybrid, with on-site presence required in Boca Raton, Florida.

What will you do during this internship?

  • You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges and help us develop real-time solutions.
  • You will have the opportunity to present your work at internal forums within ADL.
  • You will have practical, hands-on experience with regional operations.
  • Collaborate with, meet and learn from ADL subject matter experts at all levels and become familiar with the varied work we do to “stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
