POSITION TITLE:  Regional Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Senior Associate Regional Director 

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:  None

LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA

Grade/Class: Grade C, Non-Exempt, Non-Union

PRIMARY FUNCTION: 

 

To provide a broad range of administrative and project management support to the Regional Director and regional operations staff and programs.

Responsibilities

Primary: 

  • Provide high level support to Philadelphia Regional Operations, Education, and Development teams, including program and even support, database management, administrative processing, scheduling, and communications.
  • Provide support to the Regional Director, including scheduling, administrative processing, and communications.
  • Provide support in creating and posting digital media content, such as updates to the Regional
    web pages, e-newsletters, social media, and other platforms as needed.
  • Partner with Regional Director and appropriate team members to manage communications with
    members of the Regional Board and local leadership committees.
  • Coordinate and provide project management support for events, including registration
    management and on-site assistance. Provide technological support for events as needed.
  • Maintain Regional databases and contact lists to ensure that they are up to date and accurate.
    Assist with maintenance and accuracy of regional information in national ADL databases.
  • Schedule and provide support for ongoing meetings, including Regional Board Meetings and
    committee meetings.
  • May serve as a liaison between the Regional Office and ADL’s East Division and national staff on
    matters of technology and administrative systems.
  • Manage administrative and physical aspects of the Regional office space including external contracts, ordering supplies and ensuring office has what it needs in order to run smoothly.
  • Collaborate with regional office staff to provide support for special events and projects as
    needed.
  • Provide support to the designated safety person for the office, regarding safety needs.
  • May serve as a point of communication for external contacts and stakeholders.
  • May provide support to national and divisional staff as needed.



Qualifications

Skills: 

  • Strong computer skills (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Will need to know and understand Salesforce and other online platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task to complete projects on deadline.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience and Familiarity with social media best practices and platforms including X (Twitter),
    Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Work independently to solve challenges that arise, understanding when to seek guidance.

Work Experience:

  • The ideal candidate has several years professional experience, including providing administrative support in a fast-paced office environment (On-campus student worker positions will be
    considered).


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

 

Work Environment: 

  • ADL is a hybrid environment; This role requires 4 days (Monday-Thursday) in the office, and work from home on Fridays.

 

Compensation: 

  • This position has a salary range of $48,000 to $55,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in Philadelphia, PA.
