PRIMARY FUNCTION: 

 

ADL is seeking a director to lead strategic initiatives focused on countering antisemitism and extremism, support organization-wide strategy development and implementation, and foster a culture of evidence-based decision-making and innovation. The ideal candidate is results-oriented with experience designing and implementing strategic social impact initiatives, generating data-driven insights and actionable recommendations, working cross-functionally, and engaging with senior leaders 

Responsibilities

Primary: 

  • Design, manage and execute innovative strategies and projects to counter antisemitism and extremism 
  • Support strategic planning and integration of impact goals and measurement across the organization 
  • Serve as internal consultant and strategic partner to different business units within ADL, helping to refine priorities and focus resources to advance organizational goals 
  • Lead research and analysis to produce actionable insights, identify areas of opportunity, and inform programs and campaigns to counter bigotry and intolerance 
  • Collaborate across functions and with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to drive impact fighting antisemitism and other forms of hate 
  • Manage initiatives to encourage innovation, launch and evaluate pilot projects, identify and scale best practices 

Qualifications

Skills: 

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytic and communications skills 
  • Experience designing and implementing strategic initiatives  
  • Creative, critical thinker capable to producing data-driven insights and analysis to inform strategic decisions 
  • Flexibility to consider, explore and decide which tools are most effective to achieve change 
  • Strong work ethic and ability to drive initiatives to achieve results 
  • Capable of thriving in fast-paced environment, managing multiple workstreams 
  • Team player with willingness to play multiple positions as needed  
  • Some knowledge of antisemitism preferred
     

Work Experience:   

  • The ideal candidate has significant experience  with demonstrable increases in skill and responsibility in management consulting, strategy, campaign, advocacy, corporate or market reform campaigns, and/or related. 

Education:   

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.  
  • Masters or MBA preferred.   

 

Work Environment:  

  • ADL COVID-19 Protocol (updated periodically): ADL is adhering to public health guidance regarding COVID-19. ADL is a hybrid environment, though this role may be performed remotely. 

 

Compensation:  

  • This position has a salary range of $65,000 to $120,000. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
